Privacy information
This information describes the local beta and is not a final privacy policy. Data retention and deletion controls must be completed before launch.
Information used
GenTPA can process account information, classroom recordings, transcripts, and evaluation content. Recordings can contain student and teacher information. Use only material you have permission to process.
Processing and service providers
The local video transcription feature uses a locally installed Whisper model. When an evaluation is requested, transcript content is sent to the selected AI provider. Google Drive links require access to Google Drive. Other services used by the application may include cloud storage, email, and payment providers, depending on configuration.
Automatic removal of identifying information can miss details. Review the transcript and obtain appropriate permissions before submitting classroom material.
Retention and requests
GenTPA’s intended retention period for recordings, transcripts, and reports is 15 days. Automatic deletion across all storage locations has not yet been implemented, so this period is not currently guaranteed. Local transcription removes its temporary video when processing finishes. Contact contact@gentpa.ai about privacy or deletion requests; email service for this address still needs to be configured.
Launch review
The operator must confirm actual storage, third-party handling, retention, and deletion practices before publishing a final policy.
